SAFTAs19 OPEN CALL FOR IN-MEMORIAM SEGMENT

The National Film and Video Foundation (NFVF), an agency of the Department of Sport, Arts, and Culture and custodian of the SAFTAs, is calling on all South Africans in the film and television industry to submit the names of departed practitioners who passed away between 20 September 2024 and 06 March 2026. The call is to honour all fallen heroes and heroines in the Memoriam section of the awards in March 2026.

Please send the following information:

• Full name and surname, date of birth, and date of passing of the practitioner.
• Three high-resolution images.
• Biography of the practitioner that includes the role (title) played in the film and television industry.

Submit all the requested information by 06 March 2026 to the SAFTAs team on this email address: info@saftasonline.co.za.
