The National Film and Video Foundation (NFVF), an agency of the Department of Sport, Arts and Culture (DSAC), has been tasked with administering the Sixth Presidential Employment Stimulus Programme (PESP6) for the audio-visual sector. We would like to provide feedback on the status of PESP6 to all applicants, who are our valuable stakeholders.
During the PESP6 national roadshows in October 2025, it was communicated that the PESP6 outcomes would be available in July 2026. Unfortunately, due to unforeseen recurring delays, the timeline was affected. The DSAC was formally notified of this issue earlier this year and is in alignment with us to ensure that the process runs smoothly. A Project Management Company has been appointed to ensure the project’s swift finalisation and the team is working to ensure that the outcomes for PESP 6 will be released by the end of October 2026.
We understand that these delays have ripple effects on you as applicants. We will be working tirelessly to expedite the resolution of all the bottlenecks in the process.
